Interesting! Pretty inexpensive…worth a try I’d say. I wonder how the upslope of the folded rear seats would affect comfort.

I would put a piece of foam on top of this or a camper pad then a Coleman sleeping bag. I also can use a heated blanket the runs off a cigarette lighter connection and a USB-C small electric heater. I believe they can run off my hybrid battery all night.

FYI, the second row seats in the 6G do not fold flat with the trunk. This was an unwelcome surprise to me after taking delivery.

Even if you installed this, you would still need to figure out how to create support the trunk space, since it's a good foot or two lower than the 2nd row seats when they are folded down (at least in the non-hybrid version.)

My solution for a simple sleeping platform has basically been to get a 6ftx2.5ft plywood board, and then I shove a box in the trunk to support the plywood board past the seats. This also eliminates the need for a product like the one you shared. Food for thought. Have fun!

The product was a piece of junk. I returned it. Did you use 1/4 or 1/2 inch plywood?
