Hello I wired up my dual function lights to my bumper using the Cali Raised dual function harness and switch. They initially told me to wire the red and yellow wires from the switch to the red wire on the harness. Everything works, but the logos stay illuminated. I called back and they said to remove the red wire at the switch and if I want to illuminate I need to tap into another wire that the lights come on when they illuminate at night. Do any of you have some suggestions on a wire to pull from that I can Posi tap into? I’d like to just run a small tap to say the gas door switch or auto high beam switch but I don’t know which wire to tap. Thanks

I never got around to changing it . I planned to test wires going to other switches and determine which showed voltage when the lights were on and no voltage when lights were off. Since all the other switches have that capability I would assume it’s one of the wires running to them.

I'm about to start a similar project and was searching around to see if anyone else has figured a good one to tap ahead of time for backlight-only-when-dash-lights-are-on. If I have a breakthrough I'll report back here, though as a default I was going to do the same exact as you did. Good to see the pic of how it'll look.
