Hello everyone,

I bought my first 4Runner limited hybrid 2025. I love this car, especially over my Venza which I traded in. It is definitely a gas guzzler, but I do not mind that fact.

I wanted to reach out to see what can I do to this car? I ordered a screen protector and have a dash cam, was thinking of getting wheel locks, mud guards, and the light up logo as well as hood struts. I want my interior to be nice, so was wondering what interior lighting options may be out there! (RGB)

Really happy with the car, I had to drive 400 miles to get back home, it averaged 19, but my speed was mostly above 75.

Congrats and welcome to the Limited fam

My suggestion is to set a custom drive mode : i prefer : sport steering and Eco mode!

Lasfit mats are great , other than that its all ur preference!

First thing before anything else, full front PPF, if you care about your paint.

if you are particular about protecting the entire Runner, complete PPF, which will cost a fortune!

I have the limited trim too!

Here are my mods:
1st mod and most useful/quality changing- Smaller wheels, bigger tires made a huge difference in reducing/eliminating my motion sickness in the car.
- 18'' matte black TRD wheels
- Bridgestone 265/70/18 tires
- "Toyota" Heritage wheelcaps (silver)
- Toyota black wheel nuts
- Toyota black wheel locks

2nd- Gyeon Ceramic coating- took me 8 hours. Won't be doing that myself again on a car this size. No PPF.

3rd- 14'' Screen protector
4th- Muslogy tray that fits behind the screen
5th- Vueroid S1 4k dashcam- only installed front-facing camera as of now

Waiting to be installed:
- Rear dashcam
- Auto on-off eliminator
- OEM Toyota mudflaps
- OEM D-pillar cargo lights
- Trailhunter front skid plate
- Trailhunter transfer skid plate
- TRD pro front grill
- Platinum trim/glossy black Front and Rear Valances
- OEM black roof rails

Black Friday purchase- waiting to be delivered.
Toyota oil filters x 3
6 quart Toyota synthetic oil x 3

Edit:
Yeah the interior light bulbs are usually the first mod I make with my cars.
The only option we have now is the Meso Custom lights which I don't like.
I could wait for a better option to come along.

Thanks that is a lot to consider, I wanted to do the front grill but wasn’t sure if I should cause of all the chrome and then it wouldn’t match as nice, the car is black, so maybe I bite the bullet?

Thanks that looks amazing! I may also want the light bar and those orange truck lights later down the line

How do you know?
Clearcoat is softer than butter on these:

- first gravel road and ended up with several chips on rear door past the paint...
- I PPF a partial hood a few weeks in and it had a rock chip already.
- there are more silly scratches I made to clear.

There are other post out here with folks showing swirls on clearcoat from day one (probably dealer car wash). I hand wash mine rarely.

Def had swirls on day one. That paint and clearcoat is insanely soft IMO. I’m hoping ceramic after buffing them out will prevent more.
