I’m waiting, too. I’d love to NOT have to use window mount with another power cord dangling off my dashboard!
I have both a V1, and an Escort Redline.

Guys I just got my trail hunt and I wanna melt my V1 up to the left of the mirror where that little black stuff is. Does anybody have a solution for wiring directly into the upper console?

I would strongly recommend this mount for the Valentine Gen 1 and Gen 2 detectors. I've had mine for over a year now, and it installs very easily and places the detector right below the rear-view mirror, so it doesn't block radar signals or laser signals.
