Well, this is exciting. The 4Runner went into the shop last week to install the TEQSPORT T550X turbo. This is a totally new design drop-in ball-bearing turbo for the T24, not an upgraded CHRA in a stock housing.
Modifications up to this point are the following;
SXTH Element Intercooler
AWE 0FG Exhaust
TEQSPORT Intake (Pre-Production)
TEQSPORT Turbo Inlet (Pre-Production)
TEQSPORT Ecutek Tune
The dyno below is from a few weeks ago with the setup above, when ambient temps were around 95 degrees. (Really speaks for how well the intercooler is working, way to go SXTH!)
Making mid 300's and over 400wtq is pretty satisfying; that's about 80whp and 90wtq above the baseline. It'll be cool to see where this lands with the bigger turbo.
