Thank you again for the instructions. Easy install… Also the easiest way to pop out the pigtail connector cover is using a small flat head and poke it through from bottom and push up. The cover comes off easy. Do not try from the top it will never work..

You don't angle them out at 45° for side coverage? I've seen many angle them incorrectly like this

The lights are combo, the bottom are floods and the top are spots. So when I turn it on I get plenty of light coverage. I see the ditch plus what’s in front of me.

The trailhunter has the pre-wired aux switches in the cabin. You connect to the switches using pigtail adaptors and hookup points in the engine bay and the cab. Toyota has taken care of power and switching for you.

This is the two front hookups that are on the driver's side near the washer fluid. I took the plug out of the one I used and you can see the metal contacts.

The pigtail connectors that plug into the port came with my car as a set of three, like in this pic.

I used one of the smaller ones.

Outside of this there is no need to hookup a switch and the power separately. The wiring harness I got with the lights had a relay, cables that take power to the lights, a cable for bringing power from the battery, and a cable for the switch. With the pre-wired aux you can cut away everything except the cables that take power to the lights and wire them directly to the pigtail.
I just purchased the squadron 2.0 sport a pillar kit from baja designs. I plan to do the same thing you did. You just simply cut the switch wire fromt he relay bundle and wired the red/black wires with fuse directly to the aux pigtail?
