Badge overlay inserts removable? Black center caps on TRD wheels?

Question, If I get a blackout toyota badge from the factory is it easy to swap in back to the chrome on my own? It says they are "inserts"
Also does anyone know about the black center caps on the TRD wheels? I assume the just cover the red lettering and could be removed? or do the default black TRD wheels have a center cap with red lettering? These are minor details on the order but just curious about my options.

I just messed with my front chrome badge (to make it black funny enough). It was easy to pop out without removing anything. There was nothing under it so definitely need to have another one or a plan to alter the original ready.

Thanks for the info. I'm currently still ordering a vehicle so nothing on tap. I read somewhere the black overlay is taped onto the chrome so that may be different than your removal process, though come to think of it, i could pry the whole thing off and you'd get the black overlay on top of the stock and id get your stock. I'll let you know if i end up with that car and we can explore the option.

So I actually put a black one on the front of my orp from Toyotas site. It comes as a stackable piece that goes over the chrome one. I’ve ran it through 3 car washes so far and it’s holding up pretty well

This part is just the TOYOTA in the hatch handle chrome, or at least it was on mine. All other badges were black (4Runner on hatch and TRD Offroad badges). removed them all anyway.

The TRD offroad badges are solid black all the way through or are they chrome underneath? Hard to tell shining a light on mine where they stick on.

This is less than helpful but I could be remembering my Tacoma I had before. One if not both of them once I got the fishing line under the overlay popped off and it was chrome.
