what problems have you heard? im super interested in thisI'd be interested to know too since this is the only feature I feel like I missed out on going with the non-premium OR. And I haven't found a good solution for adding the missing pull strap that previous gens had.
But I've read some horror stories with these aftermarket kits, so I'm hesitant to even entertain the idea of installing one
hmmm maybe ill have to be that 6g owner... this is one of the only things on my runner ive been like "dang i wish i had that". My issue isnt that i need a button inside the car, i just wish that if i pressed the button on the hatch it would have enough force that it would open all the way on its own. I wonder if these would help@YotaMerchant - On the low end of the spectrum just it not working or failing within a relatively short amount of time. But on the more severe end, the liftgate actually bending (which may or may not be due to improper installation). But still, that was enough for me to just forget about it...
Granted the below snip was referring to a 5th gen, there were other examples (this was just the first one I remembered seeing)
But that's also why I'd definitely like to hear some real feedback from a 6th gen owner who has actually installed it.

My problem is not with opening mine seems to lift up all by itself. Once you get it past like a foot or two and it goes right up problem is closing it, which is why I was looking for some input on automatic power closing.
