Anyone install Larger Cooling Upgrades on Hybrid 4Runner?

How did your install go and could you share thoughts on performance impacts?

It was just installed along with a downpipe and charge pipes. Huge performance gains with all of these updates. I guess I’m on the chase for at least 450hp.

I’m just returning from a Laguna in Seca Porsche track 2 day class and 4 nights in the Redwoods. The new TK500 & Mishimoto trans cooler were installed in our absence. Will take pictures. We should be getting the custom OTT tune next weekend. Our trailer has no brakes. Unloaded, it weighs close to 500Lbs I believe. As I mentioned previously, I have already swapped the rotors and pads, but perhaps because of the 19” Nitto Grapplers, it just isn’t confidence inspiring

If I am following correctly, you have both the SXTH intercooler and the Mishomoto transmission cooler? What was fitment like? Was all of that put between the grille and the radiator, or did you put the transmission cooler somewhere else? Any cutting involved? If you could share some pictures, it would be appreciated!

Here you go. Even without the second OTT tune, the upgraded TK500 turbo is noticeably punchier.

Very nice @Stonkin! I believe my next update will be the TK500 and turbo inlet. I’m going to monitor transmission temperature but will probably add the Mishomoto trans cooler, since it appears to fit with the intercooler.
