I plan on disconnecting the battery to get to the wiring harness going through the firewall for some power wire fed to the back (see my other threads). I'm wondering if there's any problems with systems that need intialization afterwards? I know in my 4th gen, the windows and the sunroof had to be recalibrated, but even after reading the manual, I just want to see what your experience has been like.
What about using a memory saver? It's a 9v battery that plugs into the OBD2 port to keep memory to critical systems. I didn't see anything on the forums about it, but maybe someone has used that before.
