Any good cures for trail rash on plastic trim pieces?

So, I ended up with some trail rash (minor scratches and rub marks) on the plastic wheel arches and side view mirrors after my last off road outing to Colorado and New Mexico. I’ve been able to buff out scratches on the painted clearcoat, but was wondering if anyone had tips / tricks to get rid of scratches on the plastic trim pieces. Thanks !!!

Heat gun. Start out in the lowest setting. I was able to get some scratches out on a fender flare.
Just be patient and don't heat it up too quickly or too much. You could change the color of the plastic in that area by doing so. Ask me how I know. But, that method worked pretty good for me.
