Another Everest ORP 🐢

Picked up this unit last month to replace a 2017 GX460 I owned for the past 6 months. Had to wait a month for an Everest but so glad I did, can't get enough of this color.

It was around $56.6k out the door(4500 off msrp) in Oregon.

I really don't like the stock wheels and am super tired of boring black wheels. I'm an OEM+ kinda feller so I found a set of the 18" trd optional wheels from a local forum member and had them painted canyon bronze metallic and mounted stock size Nokian Outpost NAT tires which should do well as a year round mild offroader/ and snow tire. I wanted increased capability and not hurt fuel efficiency, this setup is about the same weight as the stock setup.

I found some cargo boxes that are about the same height as the rear seats folded down and cut out some plywood to make a super basic(and cheap!) solo sleeping platform that also fits in the cargo area with the seats up under the cargo bins. It gets the job done but I might get a thicker sleeping pad.

I've since added the following:
-Hood struts
-FITCAM 4K front dash cam
-LASFIT rear cargo liners
-TRD front and trans skid plates
-Front window tint
-DV8 Rear interior MOLLE panels
-Diode Dynamics hitch mount LED light
-Anker C1000 power station/BougeRV Fridge

Upcoming:
-ANKER alternator charger to accompany C1000 power station
-Diode Dynamics SSC1 foglights

Overall I love this thing and plan to keep it a long time. I have trouble keeping cars long term since I get bored easily but this color alone is just incredible and I can actually see myself keeping it for the long haul. Let me know of any other must do mods yall recommend, cheers

I like them, doesn't really affect visibility and great spot to mount permanent items like first aid kit, fire extinguisher, mini air compressor, etc.

If I ever remove them a few black plugs would hide them decently enough.

Found a good deal locally on a Kuat Dek roof rack with built in Diode Dynamics light bar and SXTH CPLT Intake so threw those on. Also installed the MandR wireless switch controller to wire the light bar. Looks and sounds great!

The Dek looks awesome. I had the crossbar mount on mine and the wind noise was intense because it sat up so high.
This direct mount looks like it 100% solves that.
How was the setup?
Curious how you sealed the direct mount points or if drilling was required for the front foot?

I picked it up gently used so it was already put together but installation is pretty straightforward. You definitely want at least 2 people to get it up on the roof though to prevent any damage to paint.

Any silicone exterior sealant will do to seal around and in the threaded bolt holes on the roof. No drilling required. The front 2 supports just rest on the rubber channel and the rest are bolted down where to oem rails go.

I thought the DEK was super well built. Basically the best OE style option out there.
Looks great. Love the light bar.
