I'm still in the planning phase of this amp/sub project as mentioned in other threads, but I didn't want this one to get buried with very specific questions related to power feed:

Can I run the 4ga power wire through this rubber grommet in the firewall, or is there a better location? It feels/looks like I can just pop a small hole on either side of that grommet and feed the wire through.

A follow-up question is where should I mount the fuse block? I'm thinking directly on the firewall but I really don't want to drill any holes in it so maybe I can use one of the existing threaded studs marked in the green circle that is sticking out for one side and then just glue/tape the fuse assembly to the wall for good measure. OR I can screw it into the plastic fender housing as seen in the pic with the green rectangle, but that's a bit flimsy.

And maybe one more question - what's the best way to get access to that power wire coming in from the firewall from within the cabin? Like what do I need to remove to see that grommet? It looks like the mats and maybe the passenger side plastic panel, but not sure if I need to remove the glove box or anything else.

If you're wondering, I plan on running the power line on the passenger side, then crossing it over in the back to the amp (placement still to be considered). And then the driver's side will have the LC2i Pro under the seat and RCA cables running back to the amp. I don't want to cross power and speaker wires, so that's why they are separate. Plus the battery is on the passenger side, so just makes sense to run it down that side.

I tried looking for any YT vids on this, but I didn't see anything specific. If you have one, drop it here. Thanks!

For anyone following along I found this video (from a Toyota Dealer) who is going through the firewall using the little "nipple" that you can see in my first photo at the top of the grommet. Vid should start at the time they are doing this. AND they are mounting the fuse on that plastic trim piece that I highlighted with the green rectangle above. Great minds think alike. :) Although they're going under the battery for the power wire and I'm not sure I'm that meticulous.
