Hello everyone,
My name is James, and I'm the Chief Design Strategist at American Adventure Lab. Since 2018, we’ve established a strong reputation in the Jeep market, and now we’re excited to expand our focus to Toyota and Lexus.
Our team is based in Southern Utah, a region renowned for its outdoor recreation and challenging terrain. It’s the perfect environment to inspire innovation and demand reliability. From day one, our mission has been to create products that make it easier for people to get outside and do what they love. My background in off-road racing and metal fabrication helps inform our approach, but it’s customer feedback that truly drives our designs.
As we look toward the next generation of 4Runner, we see the 4Runner6g community as a valuable space where your insights can directly shape what we build. We already offer several Toyota products, including those in our 5th Gen 4Runner featured in this post, and we’re eager to collaborate with you to develop solutions tailored to your specific needs and use cases.
Recently, we used a forum-driven collaboration to develop products for the 6th Gen Ranger, and the community’s input made those products stronger and better suited to real-world needs. Now, with our new 2025 TRD Off‑Road Premium (affectionately nicknamed “Annie” by my wife and kids), we want to bring that same collaborative spirit here.
We’re excited to be part of this community, eager to listen, and ready to build the next wave of 4Runner products together. With all of that said, what are some things you would all like to see?
— James, AAL
