6th gen pull strap for rear liftgate

Hey guys! I have an SR5 and was wondering if anyone has figured out how to add a pull strap to the trunk?! I’m 4’11” so getting my trunk closed can sometimes be challenging!

Sucks they omitted it from the 6th gen - it's like extra punishment for not going Premium...

Yeah, I I haven't had a chance to pull the panel off and see what's going on in there yet, but was hoping someone had figured out a good location to drill through the panel to bolt-up one like this on a 6th gen.

I thought this only worked on the 5th gen because it already came with a strap attached to the hatch and this just swaps out the strap to a paracord

There is no place to mount one on my 4Runner, however I have the automatic lift gate. I think the panels are the same for those with the manual lift. At least with the automatic lift you can program the height.
