Got mine installed. Used the reverse relay. Thought at first it didn't work, but you need to press and HOLD the on button, and then wait a minute, and then it works fine every time.

Same experience with having to sort of hold the button down for a second or two.

Does the wired kit switch or a toggle switch like they show in the installation videos? If it is a toggle switch I can choose whether to activate it every time I park whereas a push button seems like you would have to push the button to start it every time. I really don't want to carry a separate wireless key fob so I'm leaning towards the physical switch.

Got an easy place to run the wire through the firewall? The only drawback with the physical switch is trying to fish The wire through the firewall in the dash somewhere and figure out where to mount it.
