Hey guys, I’m new here 👋

I just picked up a 2025 4Runner SR5 and I’m in a bit of a pickle deciding on my setup. I’m about 60/40 leaning toward running a Westcott Designs preload collar kit (2.5” front / 0.75” rear) with Nitto Grappler G3 tires in 285/75R17 on Method 321 wheels.

I really like how this setup looks, but I’m hoping to get some real-world feedback from people running something similar:

  • Anyone here running 285/75R17 with the Westcott kit on a 2025 4Runner SR5?
  • Any rubbing issues (full lock, reverse, compression, off-road, etc.)?
  • Any trimming, caster adjustment, or extra work needed during/after install?

I know that 285/70R17 is supposedly no-rub, but I’m really trying to make the taller 285/75R17s work if possible.

I also have a question about offset. I just want a little bit of poke, nothing crazy. I was told to go with 0 offset, but I see a lot of people running +15, +25, even +35.

For those of you with a similar setup:

  • What offset are you running?
  • What would you recommend for a mild poke without causing a rubbing nightmare, especially with 285/75R17 and the Westcott kit?

Any advice, experience, or pics of your setup would be greatly appreciated. 🙏

Thanks in advance for the help!

Running 285/70r17 with Icon +25. Rear pokes about 1/2" and front a little more (yes front pokes more). I only put a 1" level and wife wanted to keep mudflaps, so had to cut some of the fat portion up front to clear. You are putting a 75, but with more lift, so it "might" clear? I previously had 285/60r20 KO2'S on Raceline +15 and that poked 1" on rear and 1-1/2" up front and had to remove front mudflaps. I changed it because that setup was 30# heavier per corner. My current setup with Mickey Thompson Baja Boss AT weighs same as stock 265/55r20.
