2026 4Runner specs hopes/wants?

I just wish that, in Canada, we could get a SR5 with only 5 seats, a heated steering wheel and some color options. I don't understand the black, white or grey only options. And getting a heated steering requires to move up to the next model which is a 4k$ add-on. 7 seats on a basic model is also quite a stupid idea.

Mainly internal and external color choices.

We're closing on a house next week, so our purchase has also been pushed back a bit.

I wanted to get smoked Mesquite with coffee seats….no go!

1) A V6 option
2) Air Suspension (not for towing, for comfort) or just get a different vehicle.
3) Better quality control
4) Electronic mirror available on ALL trim levels
5) Parking Assist sensors on ALL trim levels.

Finally, you know the 2026 is another excuse to raise the pricing again.

1. v6 will never happen on the 4R, that cuts into sequoia's
2. already have AVS on the higher 4R trims


there will not be any major changes for 2026, they never do on a new gen 2nd year runs. you might see some changes in 2027 like they did for the tundra going from 2022 to 2024.

2023 tundra didnt see any changes vs 2022 MY's. 2024 they started breaking out and adding new options vs the 22/23.

ie: platinum the removed the hud from the tied packages of avs & auto boards. they added the TRD OR package to the platinum.
