2025 2026 4runner 6th gen 2025 Limited top grille replacement help IMG_8158

I just got my 2025 4Runner Limited a month ago. I ordered the heritage top grille only from Toyota to swap out, and start making her a look a bit more my style. Now Toyota is telling me this won’t be able to be swapped out because of the birdseye camera. From everything I looked up - the cameras are in the bottom grille. Has anyone come across this issue? Is there an aftermarket adapter piece I need to get or something?

Your dealer is clueless. You don't move the camera, just put a plug in the grill hole. I got this one for $5 and superglued it in. https://kocreations.shop/products/heritage-grill-camera-hole-plug

I got the TRD Pro grill so I just painted mine gloss black (they come matte black).
Thank you so much! I figured that but I’ve gotten the same answer from a few places and it was driving me mad! Even if there is something to move, there has to be a way to do it. They told me there’s now different versions of the ‘25 limited and mine is different.

I suggest you ask to speak with the service manager. You aren't moving anything. Many of us, myself included, have replaced the Limited grill. Nothing moves. Pop out old grill, pop in new grill. End of story (minus the 2-3 hours to do it lol).

These videos helped me when i did it. Follow the first video on how to properly remove the fenders. Others will tell you to just rip it off and I nearly broke a clip. After that the other videos should be able to walk you through rest of the way. Take your time, its tedious. And make sure youre working on a well padded surface so you wont scratch up the bumper as youre working on the clips

Thank you! I’ve watched a lot of vids but I was beginning to question them with what Toyota told me. I appreciate everyone being so helpful in this forum!

Ya this forum is great. Everyone has been nice. If you have any plans of doing the front silver valence or the fog lights, I recommend you decide before starting the grill. Will save you from having to take off the bumper again and going through the same clips
