Of course this is my opinion only and this is related to my specific asphalt and Trail needs.
Bilstein is my first choice for all of my previous 4Runners. I am waiting for a release for the new 6th gen.
The reasons why I like Bilstein is they have advanced valving Incorporated. Also they do quite a bit of R&D. But mostly they are built to last for a good 100K miles.
Just my two cents.

I have a 25 Trd sport I got last March. I concur with the above. I’ve only ever ran bilstien 5100s and I am waiting….. I’ve been recently thinking about just tossing a cheap top spacer but tbh it’s just not worth the install fee I’d rather wait for the 5100s and by that time maybe my tires will be a little more worn. I got the upgraded nitto grapplers.

Plus I want a tad bit better ride the stock shocks are pretty harsh not use to it. But with the 5100s I’ll set the front 1.75 and add a rear spacer with the rear bilstiens which will give me a bit better ride and small lift https://offroad.bilstein.com/en-us/trucks/
