Oh that is perfect, I looked and never saw that one. That it has the mounting points as well as storage makes it a no-brainer!

Odd- the description says this tray is only for vehicles equipped with the 14” screen, but the images clearing show the 8” screen. Or am I interpreting them incorrectly?
”clearly“ -darn autofill.

had the bullet point mount for the 23 tundra. great product and was super easy DIY install. took longer to adjust the correct spot and angle for the phone mount than to drill the holes in the oem tray and to install it.

wish they had that sunken tray they have in the tundra in the 4runner than that crappy wireless speaker.

not my setup but the possibility of having the sunken oem tray that could be repurposed by the bulletpoint install

this is how we have it set up in our 23 tundra right now for the wife

the wife wants to transfer her bulletpoint to her new 4runner. that tray with the mounts looks very promising that i could re-use the arms but still concerned about nothing holding the tray down.

the taco version of the tray i will have to look into and see how that is mounted.

edit : all they have is this, not ideal as it down and to your right to look at it vs being up and in your LoS as it was in the tundra

yeah, pick the 14inch verison - fits like a glove. Also doubles as a sandwich warmer if its in the sun, lol

I ordered the BulletPoint mount for the 2024 Tacoma, I think should fit the 2026 4Runner, but it hasn't arrived yet to confirm.
have to let us know how it works out. not much room to install the 4 screws that the tacoma mount uses but they give you a template to drill the holes in that little cover just above the screen.

supposedly it fits the 8in and 12in screens in the tacoma.

the short version of the install instructions

Installation of our Tacoma RubiGrid® Dash Mount is easy & straightforward. Simply remove the dash panel behind the head unit and drill 4-6 holes with the included drill bit. Drilling templates included for both screen sizes.

Light duty installation requires drilling 4 holes. Heavy duty installation requires drilling 6 holes.

Securely attach the RubiGrid® mount with the included hardware. Pop the panel back into place, mount your devices and that's it.

The end result is a rock solid mounting point for your devices that you can depend on.
this is what i have for my 12in screen
