  1. 2026 Trailhunter questions

Was too curious, so I had to crawl under the Outback and measure. From ground to rear diff is right about 10.5". The Y pipe from the exhaust hangs a touch lower at about 10". They have this thing pretty snugged up. There is a skid plate covering the transmission and oil pan, but I don't think...
  2. 2026 Trailhunter questions

Over the many, many, videos I've watched. The ORP, TRD Pro, and TH seem to all be capable. You get the disconnecting front sway bar in the TH the ORP premium does not have. I saw another thread you can add it to maybe the '26 for $1300.
  3. 2026 Trailhunter questions

It is interesting because when I searched to compare to my 2024 Outback Wilderness, I also came up with 10.1. My car is rated at 9.5, which I thought was odd because I'd think the 4Runner would be quite a bit higher than mine. I'm running 235/65/17 Falken Wildpeak At3ws, over the stock 225...
  4. '25 Trailhunter MSRP vs SRP

I am in no hurry. Maybe I just need to build exactly what I want and wait however long it takes. Because I hate gloss black.
  5. '25 Trailhunter MSRP vs SRP

Thanks for the info. Figured on the delivery, which I'm fine with. The other stuff is different. Both dealers near me add those inserts on all the Trailhunters, no clue why. The reason I like the TH is for the lack of gloss, please don't add more and charge me for it.
  6. '25 Trailhunter MSRP vs SRP

Tested an Ice Cap yesterday. Drove wonderful, but now I am starting the negotiating between two local dealers. TLDR; Do y'all consider paying MSRP to actually mean you don't pay for delivery? Just doc fee ($225) and tax 6.25%? MSRP from Toyota's site is $67,700. Sticker "SRP" is total of...
  7. Signing a release form??

Local Subaru place tries this. They sneak it into the sales tax. Luckily, my sales person is good and he took it off for me, why I bought three cars from him. Just a shame you have to be this careful.
  8. The WAY TOO detailed explanation of why I bought a Trailhunter instead of TRD PRO

Great write up. I am currently researching 2026 4Runners for a purchase next year if interest rates get better. I ruled out the TRD Pro because of the hood scoop. I would much rather have snorkel noises over a shaking hood driving down the road. I also like the extra skid plate, air compressor...
  9. Introductions & Welcome Thread đź‘‹

Hey everyone. Please don't ban me, but I currently have a 2024 Subaru Outback Wilderness. I have wanted a Taco since back in 1999 and never made the switch to Toyota. Really considering getting a '26 4Runner Trailhunter, so this forum has been popping up a lot in my searching. Figured I'd...
