I like the hood scoop. I know it's not functional, but it still looks pretty cool. If you don't like it then it's a good thing that there are six different trim levels without one.
I think the White TRD and the Red Pro looks fantastic on an Underground and Black. For the Mudbath I like the all black look. Either way....you have a TRD Pro and I'm jealous!
Yeah, filling in the TRD Pro logo with black would look great on Mudbath. I saw a Youtube video short of an Underground TRD Pro that had the TRD part in white and the Pro in red and it looked really sharp on the Underground. Would look good on a black TRD Pro as well.
I can't really answer...
This TRD Pro in Underground looks so damn good. Let's say I had this friend who had been set on an Underground Platinum because the Platinum really does make more sense for his family because he never really goes off-road. He's been looking for a 4Runner but more along the lines of a 'Grocery...
Those wheels will look awesome on a black TRD Sport Premium! If I was going to switch from the 20" wheels to the 18" wheels, that would be my choice. Be sure to post pictures!
I like the look of your rig. Have you considered the black 20" wheels from the Platinum? I'm wanting to steal your tires and put them on my future (Underground or Black) Platinum wheels, and I think my Platinum wheels would look great on your TRD Sport tires.
I like those 275/55/20 Nitto Ridge Grapplers you have. I'm thinking of putting those on my upcoming Platinum when I get it to give it a little more aggressive look than the OEM tires it comes with.
Right. I don't have any facts to back it up, but I bet the dealer makes over $8,000 on a MSRP TRD Pro MSRP deal. I think it was @Nodak who showed us that dealer invoice is around 60K for a 65K MSRP Platinum.
I wonder how much profit a dealership makes on a typical 6th gen MSRP sale. I know it's a lot. I understand that each 6th gen purchase is different. Different trim levels, different port installed options, different doc fees, different relationships with the dealer, etc.... I get that.
But...
Thanks for your responses and enjoy your rig. There is a place for the front camera because it is standard on the TRD Sport Premium trim. Hang around these 4Runner forums long enough and you'll learn.....there is a mod for everything!
Thanks for the picture. This is why I love this forum. This is the exact look that I'm wanting for my upcoming Platinum. I want to keep my 20" wheels, but want a more aggressive look without giving up too much in terms of road noise. Do you have any rubbing issues with the 275/55/R20 tires...
Nice. I'm getting a Platinum with the same wheel size as your rig. I've been researching at tires that will give me a more aggressive look but are still fairly quiet on the road. I've had my eyes on the Nitto Recon Grapplers, but your Ridge Grapplers also give the look that I'm looking for...
I would never feel comfortable trying to do this on my own, but thank you for posting this in such detail. This is what this forum is all about....helping other 4Runner fanatics in doing such things. Great material.
