Yeah, if you can find a wheel with a splash of that Heritage blue on it that would look awesome. Might be tricky to find that color since it's kind of unique, but I'm sure it's out there somewhere. Good luck in your search my fellow Platinum brother!
Those look really nice! I actually like the glossy black 20" wheels on the Platinum. I'm going to change the tires out on mine. Just don't know what to yet. We've got some time here to decide, anyways.
@Nodak What are you going to do about your tires on your Platinum? I want to keep the 20" stock wheels, but would like an upgrade on the tires. I'm willing to sacrifice some gas mileage and noise to get a set of AT tires that look a little more aggressive. Trying to find an AT tire that leans a...
I've watched most of them. Here's the deal....Toyota paid for all these reviewers to come out to San Diego, put them up in a nice hotel, gave them nice meals, and most importantly exclusive access to these 6th gen 4Runners. No one is going to give any harsh criticisms in their reviews. Subtle...
From watching the videos on my preferred trim, the Platinum, I know that the Platinum does have the cool hidden flashlight as well. Not sure on the other trims. If it's on the Trail Hunter and the Platinum I'm sure it's on the Pro. Not sure of the lower trims.
I currently have a 2007 4Runner Limited. I'm not getting rid of it....why would I? But, it's time for an upgrade. Getting a Platinum. I'm excited for all the new technology and just new everything. I'm not too worried about the 4 cylinder and all the other stuff the haters find to complain...
Congrats @MG-OR! So, January 20 is the first day on this forum that we have actual evidence of someone buying and actually driving home in the new 6th gen! What's your guess on the first actual day that someone will drive home a hybrid 6th gen? I'll guess....March 23rd.
It will be interesting to see how it plays out. It's crazy seeing on here some dealerships asking for a 5-15K markup on 4Runners that aren't a TRD Pro or Trailhunter. I can't imagine anyone paying that, but I guess there are some out there dumb enough to pay it otherwise they wouldn't do it...
Just looking at the price sheets for the 4 vehicles on this page. Rough math....all of them have between $2,000-$2,500 of port installed options and factory installed options. And that's actually lower than some others that I've seen. I know it's just part of the game/process, but I don't...
This was informative and helpful. I've been doing some research on AT tires trying to find the best fit for my needs. Not really needs, but wants. I'm a 'pavement princess'.
My upcoming Platinum will never see true off-roading. So, I know that the stock highway tires are really the best...
Thanks, Henry. I understand FIO (Japan). I understand PIO (someplace like Jacksonville for me in Florida). I understand DIO (my local dealer). Still a little unsure of LIO? Exactly where are the LIO's being installed at?
