OP here. Thanks for all of your input. I think I'm going to go without any running boards, rock rails, etc... for a while on my TRD Pro and see how I feel after a few months. There are so many people doing so many mods when it comes to them, I think I can find a set of take offs in just about...
I have a deposit down for an Underground TRD Pro. Beyond excited. I want to add on the 'TRD Pro Badge Overlay' on the back. It's a little hard to explain but I want the 'TRD' colored in white and the 'Pro' colored in red. I attached a short video I found on Youtube that shows exactly what I...
First, let me start by saying this. I have no problem at all with making additions/changes to your rig for just aesthetic purposes. I'll give you an example. I now have a deposit on a TRD Pro (yeah!!), and one of the first things I'm going to do is get the red recovery/tow hooks just because...
That's a beautiful ride. I was just complaining about having to go 1,000 miles to get a decent deal on 4Runner and you guys are going 2,000 miles to get your rig. Wow! I'll stop complaining. Congrats on your new ride. It looks awesome. I like the more aggressive tires. Enjoy.
It's depressing because it would be nice if you could buy the car that you want without having to buy from a dealer 1,000+ miles away to do it. That's what I'm going to end up doing. Just wish it were easier.
I live in Florida and recently have begun seriously searching for a TRD Pro. I know my username involves the Platinum, but I've changed my mind and am seeking a Pro. Many of the OG's on the forum already know this and have posted about it, but man it seems almost impossible to get any kind of...
Tim, I don't think I'll be able to give any great insights, but I thought I'd chime in because I am currently struggling with the same decision. I'm also torn between the Platinum and the Pro. I currently drive a 2007 4Runner Limited and I'm excited and ready to upgrade to either the Platinum...
It was a serious question. I don't think the Toyota engineers think it looks good. I think the Toyota engineers put it on there to make their gas mileage statistics better. We're all allowed to have our own opinions and set up our 4Runners how we like. I think all 4Runners look better with...
Serious question......why are some of you keeping the air dam on? Are there people out there that think your 4Runner looks better with it on? Someone on here did the numbers and it equated to like a 0.7 miles per gallon advantage with it on compared to off. Let's be serious...we aren't buying...
It looks awesome! Give us some more details. Did you pay over MSRP? What kind of options were 'forced' on you? Were you on a waiting list? How did you get this incredible ride?
Lol. It took me awhile to figure it out, but if you click on your profile and go to 'Account Details' and scroll down, you can change the trim level to TRD Pro. It's a small thing. Everyone sees that incredible Underground TRD Pro in your profile picture anyways.
We have a similar story. My daily driver still is a 2007 4Runner Limited. It's been good to me, so I figure it's time to splurge a little with my next one. Why not a TRD Pro even though it may not be completely practical? Keep the pictures coming! Hopefully in a few months I'll be sharing...
I absolutely love your TRD Pro. I'm not gonna lie. Even though my name on here is '4R Platinum or Die Trying', I'm having second thoughts and leaning towards a TRD Pro just like yours. Realistically, a Platinum fits my family's needs better. We're not really off-roaders and the Platinum's...
