Right? I'm pretty sure I saw him buy a ZR2 Silverado and sell it within two days. That's weapon's grade financial dumbassery right there.
I generally hit "not interested" on his videos, because he has no valid advice for me. He keeps showing up though LOL
Tacoma is pretty much the same. Go to a dealer and check it out yourself. I didn't find it to block enough for me to have a strong opinion on it (in the Taco). I like how it looks, but couldn't care less if it's on whatever I buy.
Only you will be able to determine whether or not it's...
I've read/heard that too. My personal take on that is...That came from a Toyota Engineer. Their approach to things like that is with an eye to durability and longevity. I've slapped heads, cam, headers, and supercharger on a car and had it over 700 hp on a transmission and clutch that were...
Agreed! Every time I see somebody complain about the hoses and "rat's nest" (their words) under the hood, I just...I mean...Have y'all never worked on cars? Because I look in this engine bay, even the hybrid, and I think DAMN that looks easy to work on.
If the customer had a choice, then the money spent vs. value discussion would be valid. But since they do it without asking, will flat refuse to remove them, and then the dealer adds even more ($300 USB cables!!)? Nah. Hard pass.
You can buy an aftermarket warranty on used cars. I don't know their criteria or age/mileage limitations...I'm sure that there's a sliding scale on how sketchy the company is vs how old the car is...But I know they exist LOL
I'm a mechanical guy. I am built from the DNA up for "righty tighty" not "righty loosey".
>>>> Remove >>>>
I'd try to remove that by turning it the wrong way for the duration of my ownership LOL
I'm not OCD, but I'm warming up to it here :ROFLMAO:
This is almost entirely dependent on the dealer. But 90% of them are aggressive as hell with that stuff.
They'll also hold the car hostage with it. "We can't sell it to you at the agreed price unless you buy this warranty package/gap insurance/service plan/scratch repair plan/etc." Dealers...
I don't know how Toyota's "Mountain Region" port is, but in the Gulf States region, it's not a few hundred, it's always a few THOUSAND.
And it's why I'll legit fly across the country to buy, if I even buy new. Some regions don't have that bullshit.
