I want the tow package because I tow, but the mirror, while really neat, is kind of a wash for me. It's borderline useless to people that wear bifocals.
It really is weird. very close to the same height as you, but with longer legs instead of long torso, and I found the 5th gen to be perfect. I'm also one of the few that liked the seating position in the 3rd gen Taco.
Everybody is different for sure!
Those things are triple the price of a comparable Viofo/Garmin/etc.
But having it come from Toyota and be a supported thing is probably worth it to a lot of folks.
ALLLL of them with wifi that I've messed with have had some pretty mediocre apps. Middling at best. Most of them are straight...
WAT
That's what we were talking about. Don't move the goalpost lol
Toyota knows exactly where your car is. They know what slot on which ship and the latitude and longitude of that ship.
The Tacoma Hybrid on car search sites has been busted since day one. The Pros and THs are listed under Sport (non hybrid) most of the time. Dealer sites are busted with the same glitch too LOL
I'd put money on the idea that Toyota knows down to the minute when a three cent clip is going to show up for installation at station #312 in the 4 million square meters of Tahara and can trace it from its own production facility to know that. They know exactly where every vehicle they have is...
WalMart can tell me with great precision, the exact number and exact location, right down to the aisle and stall, of a $0.95 box of toothpicks. Anywhere in the world. They know how many they have in every single store worldwide. Target, Best Buy, and every other seller-of-things. Amazon...
A couple of things that makes the 5th Gen feel the way it does are how vertical the windshield is, and how close it is (at the bottom) to the driver. Short dash. It's a strange feeling that pretty much only the 4Runner, Jeep, and Bronco have. Oh...And the new Land Cruiser. It makes it feel like...
My parents recently got one and it's great. My mother in law had hers for 10 years and only recently moved on. She's already complained about missing it LOL
Highlanders are fantastic.
No lie. I always feel like I need a shower after talking to half those guys.
The last several years, Toyota dealers have jacked their profit margins halfway to Mars, and they're gonna fight for every dollar as it comes back down too. It's going to get rough out there.
limited has nicer headlights, standard sunroof, power folding mirrors, and a few other shiny baubles. And like ^^^^ that guy said...full time 4x4 is an option.
If the money was right, I would go for the Limited. Better base options and materials. I think the Limiteds might even have the padded top armrest (might just be the Platinums and halo trucks though).
It's already slowed down quite a bit. I probably won't bite until there's about eight grand on the hood and no Gulf States Toyota bullshit. So either I wait a long time, or they simply don't get my money LOL
There's an OR-P Tacoma hybrid at the local dealer here. It's been there for close to...
I am so.very.tired of their crap. Toyota jacking prices 20% over the last few years, PLUS every other step in the process putting two hands in the cookie jar and adding another 10-15%.
