What do you use to clean the window glass? I just hand washed the vehicle and there are water spots all over the glass. The glass cleaner spray you can buy at Costco doesn't do a very good job on those. From the inside, the windows look really dirty.
When I picked up my TH, they gave me the license plate mounting plate. Since I live in Arizona, we don't use front plates. Below are the instructions. Turns out there are two little dimples in the bumper plastic where the self-tapping screws go. But I'm not going to put anything on there...
Photo from my first search & rescue mission near Flagstaff with the week-old Trailhunter.
Used to be Everest. Now I think it's Mudbath. 25 Miles of forest road. Probably the most comfortable ride on a forest service road I've had in the 18 years I've been doing SAR.
Very nice. I'm building something similar. Can you list the 80/20 parts you're using?
I'm keeping it simple by not using drawers and using Home Depot Husky storage boxes instead. I need to be able to access the air pump in my Trailhunter.
Would be nice to know if that's the case for this vehicle. That said, jeez, I just got the thing. It sure as hell isn't going to sit for several days without use. :ROFLMAO:
I've had a lot of Apple MacBooks over the years and in 2001, they reversed the orientation of the Apple logo so it would be right side up when the screen was open.
Clearly, somebody at Toyota wasn't pay attention to the hatch back plastic design.
I find aspects of the Toyota app to be more annoying than they are useful. Under Health, it says "No Vehicle Alert" but I get notifications that literally says "2025 4Runner Hybrid has multiple vehicle alerts, please check app for more details". But tapping on the notification does nothing so...
More information: Siri/CarPlay is a bit temperamental. I'm driving along and I ask her to call somebody in my contacts list. First, she didn't hear me. Then she said she couldn't find that person. Okay, fine, I tried sending a text. Again, I had to repeat myself. Getting old and hard of...
Does anyone make a truly custom switch with your own artwork? I have two on my Gen 1 4Runner, one that says "Warp Drive" and the other says "Front Machine Gun" (they're really just clickers but still, seems a waste not to put something fun in the Aux locations.)
Since the detailing people at the dealership forgot to reinstall valve stem caps, I bought these:

Yep, watched that. There's also a good one showing the Trailhunter on Hell's Revenge in Moab. I was just there in April so it was comforting to know that the vehicle can handle that type of terrain. That said, there are places in Arizona that are super sketchy that I wouldn't want to risk my...
After having my Trailhunter for 48 hours, I've got a couple of first impressions. Bear with me since I've been driving a Gen 1 4Runner for the last 39 years.
First, I notice that there's a bit of vibration in the hood when you're at highway speeds. It's just enough to make me think that a...
This is the kind of spontaneous publicity that MAKES people!!!
(Apologies for the film reference but I just picked up my Trailhunter yesterday)
Updated with first impressions review:

Why would Toyota's inventory system not show a particular dealer having anything that's isn't on the lot? And why would Cars.com give a different result?
Where does this data come from? Just curious because the dealer I put a deposit with isn't appearing.
Edit: Okay, so a bit of exploratory hacking is revealing a bug in Toyota's website. I can't even directly search for a Trailhunter.
I ended up manually creating a query...
