  1. 305 miles to empty with full tank ?

My 5th Gen (2017) was much closer to empty when the gauge said so. My fill ups on the 5th Gen when the gauge showed 10-20 miles left, were typically less than a gallon remaining. I'd much rather have that and trust the accuracy of the gauge, than have Toyota hedge for me.
  2. 305 miles to empty with full tank ?

I've been tracking this issue on my hybrid 4Runner, and the data I've collected indicates that my 19 gallon fuel tank consistently has ~3 gallons of gas left in it when the gauge is reading empty, so I suspect it's a sensor issue that can hopefully be calibrated. The readings are off by the...
  3. Anyone know what this is for?

Here's what I'm thinking about... I'm planning to mount two Wicked Warnings LIN-6 LED Strobe Lights in these locations. I tinted the lights so it will be really low key and hardly noticeable (except when they're on!) Shouldn't be too difficult and the fit is just about perfect. I'll...
  4. Rear hatch ladder

It's very solid and I'm really happy with mine. Glad I went with the Westcott.
  5. Anyone know what this is for?

I've got the TRD Off-Road Premium, and there's a blank insert just beneath the main headlight assembly. It's physically separate from the headlight (you can wiggle it independently) and it seems like it's just a plastic insert/placeholder for some other feature or option that's not installed...
  6. Rear hatch ladder

I have the Westcott Rear Hatch Ladder and the 4Runner Tow Package, so I can share some insights: Very little impact on the backup camera No impact on the digital rearview mirror Moderate impact on the "trailer view" associated with the tow package, but not a concern. Here's what the ladder...
  7. Installed ARB Twin Motor Air Compressor using BPF Mounting Bracket

Eventually planning to do something like this, but with the SDHQ power relocation kit, once it becomes available. https://tinyurl.com/12vRelocation https://sdhqoffroad.com/products/2022-2023-tundra-hybrid-sdhq-built-under-hood-power-solution-kit
  8. The 2400W DC-AC Inverter is loud

There isn't one in the cargo area on the TRD Off-Road Premium hybrid, but it's very easy to add one since the 12v battery is located in the back. See my post about installing one here: https://www.4runner6g.com/forum/threads/blue-sea-systems-12v-power-panel-install-in-orp-hybrid.4046/
  9. Oregon Sold: WTS - 2025 4Runner Tail Lights

These are OEM tail lights that came standard on the 2025 TRD Off-Road Premium. I upgraded to the premium ones, so I no longer need these ones. These were removed 2 days after taking delivery and are in "like new" condition. I will ship them in the Toyota packaging that my premium tail...
  10. 2400 watt inverter in the hybrid not turning on.

I've been using the 2400W inverter to charge an EcoFlow Delta 3 Plus, and the most it seemed to put out was about 1400W, and it has in incredibly loud fan running the whole time. See my post about that here. I am planning to install one of these EcoFlow 800w Alternator Inverters and skipping...
  11. The 2400W DC-AC Inverter is loud

@CMill4Runner - I'm trying to charge an EcoFlow Delta 3 Plus power station, so I have a very similar use case to yours. I am seriously thinking about just installing one of these EcoFlow 800w Alternator Inverters and skipping the Toyota 2400W inverter entirely. They are on sale right now, and...
  12. The 2400W DC-AC Inverter is loud

I've got the TRD ORP iForce Max hybrid, which offers 2400W AC power outlets in both the second row center console and in the rear cargo area. This was a really appealing/important feature for me, as I want a way to charge my devices and power my portable electric refrigerator. I'm finding...
  13. OEM AUX Switch Alternatives

@Maximus4R - I'm trying to accomplish the same thing and have installed the CaliRaised switches (but have not wired them to anything yet...) so I can show you how they look with backlighting. The blue backlight doesn't stand out too much, and in every other respect, they look/feel OEM. Let...
  14. Sherpa Rack (Capitol Roof Rack) installed on my TRD ORP iForce MAX

It's the RIGID 40" Midnight Optics lightbar: https://amzn.to/4ktxCmu Looks great, lots of light output, and fits perfectly
  15. Conceptual Render with Sherpa Capitol Rack & Aspen V2 RTT

I liked the GFC RTT s lot too, but went for this one based on features and price. Got it for just over $2,200 on sale with promotions back in late February.
  16. Conceptual Render with Sherpa Capitol Rack & Aspen V2 RTT

Here's how it's looking now with the Aspen V2 rooftop tent installed: I'm using the Short 1/2" rooftop tent mounting brackets from Sherpa to attach the tent to the crossbars, and they work great! The tent install is about as low-profile and snug as you can realistically make it...
  17. Rear hatch ladder

Oh, one other thing regarding your comment about the space between the rear hatch and the ladder rungs.... On my 5th gen, I installed some StoneGard paint protection film in the area behind each ladder rung to prevent accidental paint scuffing when people are climbing the ladder, and that...
  18. Rear hatch ladder

I had one on my 5th gen 4Runner, and they are great — especially if you have a rooftop tent. To me, that would be the main reason to have one. I'm planning to put the Westcott Designs ladder on my 4Runner, and I've already mocked up what it will look like installed: It will make it super...
  19. Wiring Lights on a Sherpa Capitol Rack - DIY install how-to writeup

That is still a work-in-progress, and I'm researching options. I might use something like the SDHQ Hybrid Under Hood Power Solution to run power up to the engine bay once they come out with a kit for the 6th Gen 4Runner. As far as accessory switching, I'm planning to use relays and wire...
  20. Sherpa Rack (Capitol Roof Rack) installed on my TRD ORP iForce MAX

I decided this was worthy of its own post, so I answered your question here.
