So I pulled the trigger on some 33" Nitto Terra Grapplers tires (replaces the Falken Wildpeak AT3WA that comes with 18" TRD Wheels package upgrade). At first I wanted to go 34" with a 285/70r18 but there were...

I'm also looking for this information. I'm looking to run a 285/70r18 on my ORP with the upgraded 18s. I will also be running the westcott lift but I want to know they absolutely fit with the offset of the wheel without rubbing before I pull the trigger. Rather not run wheel spacer
If I add them, it will be with the Westcott kit, but someone on another thread said they would fit without a lift or level, but I've heard mixed things, especially in the Tacoma world.
I'm looking to either go 285/70r18 or 275/70r18 which would be a 33 or 34. Leaning more towards the 285/70, just want to make sure they don't rub before I buy them. The 265/70r18 on there now, which like you said is about the same diameter as the 285/65 in my opinion looks a little too small...
If you look at the thread, the truck has a leveling kit. There are mixed reviews on this tire size fitting without rub. Some have had no issues, others rub.
This is the exact tire size I want to run on my ORP with the Trd wheels. Also plan on doing the Westcott Preload kit but want to know if these will fit without further modifications to prevent rubbing.
Looking to eventually add the westcott lift to our ORP and was debating which tire size to go with. Any recommendations for the stock 18"wheel? Thinking either a 33 or 34. 35s look great but my wife will be driving daily. Thanks
