I just took a look behind that spot on mine and there is nothing like that. The screw is normal, not the usb cable. Absolutely I'd get back there and find what it goes to. It's all pretty open and easy to see in there without even taking anything apart. You might need back surgery but that's a...
Already handed it off to a powder coating shop. They estimate only about $230 total after tax for chemical strip, media blast, & satin black powder coat, couple weeks.
Apparently I will survive this calamity.
I've used this shop once before several years ago to get an intercooler cerakoted and...
If you buy the NYTOP front bumper, be here so advised that if you order it in steel, it will be powder coated black, and if you order it in aluminum, it will be powder coated silver.
I was *certain*, 8 weeks ago, that I ordered the NYTOP front bumper in aluminum and powder coated black.
It...
In the end I managed to fit it into the spot for the jack tools, and moved the jack tools to be with the jack. Most tow hitches won't fit but I found a few different ones that fit. Also found a pin that doesn't have a seperate loose clevis/cotter pin. The end of the thread is a few different...
Haven't dug into it yet other than what I said before taking the driver door panel back off. There is no obvious physical switch like on old cars, but whatever the switch is, it's working fine because the dash shows it.
I'll have to pull the radio and remove the 2 different wiring harnesses...
We don't know who's fault it is, because we don't know what the fault is.
The probably-imaginary thing I conjectured would be crazy regardless what else happened or who did it. The two things, how Toyota wired something, and whether anything I did broke it, which remember are both still just...
I have both of these, meaning I got the 2t3 not the 3t3. I would not call it night and day. In fact I can barely tell a difference. It's better, but it's not $900 better. And it's more louder and harsher than better. I think the stock setup actually sounded better. It's easy enough to do the...
Took the driver door panel off again, no missing mystery plugs. All fuses good. The lights turn on with the switch.
The computer senses the door open/close state because it shows the door open on the guage display.
But just the dome lights don't come on from ooening any of the front 4 doors.
I...
... wait, a week or so ago I replaced all the speakers, so I had all the door panels off. Maybe I missed a plug.
All the window, lock, and mirror controls are working on the driver door panel.
Since a week or two my front & back seat dome lights no longer turn on when a door is opened, even though the switch is in the door position. The lights do light if you switch to the on position or press them individually.
The cargo area does come on when you open the back door.
It takes at least half a day any place that does a good job. Any faster and I would say the job can't be that good. Although with a new vehicle it does save them a lot of work cleaning rust.
First they should remove any skid plates and the spare and wash the underside exceedingly well including...
Absolutely. The only reason I went to that dealer was after a lot of checking inventory on-line from all the dealers around to find the one I wanted and nothing else. Then got a purchase order in writing that listed the vin, paid a deposit over the phone, waited for it to arrive at the dealer...
If it works it works. (not that I take this post to be proof of that) But I agree it does not look good.
If you're going to let in air from behind the radiator, then why even have that stupid channel at all? Or for that matter any of the rest of the box around the filter?
Maybe just to reduce...
You want the base "fixed" style?
(fixed does not mean corrected, it's just the confusing name they gave to the default ones)
I have a set that I pulled off mine in the first couple weeks that you can have for, idk, $150? I'm in NJ but I don't mind a little drive to meet half way somewhere...
