I finally installed the @roughcountry fender flares to match the gloss black paint and so far I’m really happy with the look. I’ll eventually swap my tires out for some wider all terrain tires and the RC flares will look perfect with the wider tires (I’m just too cheap to waste perfectly good tires, lol).

The install wasn’t difficult, just time consuming learning the lessons of a first time installation. I made a video of the installation for any of you thinking about installing these yourself, hopefully it’ll save you some time. Total installation time was about 5-6 hours. The second set took me half the time of the first set (no surprise there). If you’ve installed something similar it may go faster. There were a few steps that RC left out of the instruction manual but nothing critical.

Let me know how your install goes if you install these also.

Very well done sir,
Can you tell me the space from wheel centre cap to edge of the Flare please??
It appears to be substantial?
Are you going to change wheels and tires to decrease that and flush them to new flares?

Very nice! We were looking at the Rough Country flares and were weary on what the black gloss would look like. They look good and like you said, will look better with wider tires but I too don't like to waste good tires so that would be a wait for me as well. Thanks for the video!!

Thanks! I’m not sure if I understand what you’re asking to measure. The flare RC extends horizontally away from the body 2 inches more than the stock flare. From the center of the stock rims to the bottom of the flare is 20”. Let me know if that’s not what you’re asking for.

You bet. Hope it works out for you if you get them.

I’m trying to see how far the wheels are from the fender edge how much overpoke from the wheels edge to the outer fender line.

I highly recommend them as well. Pretty painless install. I'm running mine with 18" TRD Pro rims and Nitto Terra G3 275/70/18. They look great and reduce the tire poke for sure. They are even wider that the stock TRD PRO fenders.

That looks really nice with the wide tires. I’m definitely gonna have to upgrade my tires now.

How much do the fenders measure past the tires edge on your setup please? So what's the feeder poke past the Edge of the tires?

Let me ask the question a different way,
So normally we look at wheel poke because the wheels stick past the fenders?!
Now it appears that the fender pokes more than the wheels?!

What I am asking is how many (Inches, CM or MM) does the fender pass the Tires ?

Can you both place a measure tap on the tire and tell me when it reaches the Fender's Edge so we know what offsets required to flush them front and rear please?

If I measure from the center of the front tire to the edge of the front flare it looks like 6 3/4 inches. If you need more specific measurements just take whatever measurements with the OEM flare and add 2 inches. The RC flares extend an additional 2 inches from the OEM ones.

Okay, Thanks
However, They should only extend 1 3/4" according to them?
Might go a Different route.

yeah that’s pretty close. The 2” measurement is in a picture on my original post. It could be closer to 1 3/4” at second glance.
