Like many on this forum, I’ve done a few upgrades, deletes, and personalizations to my 4Runner. Very happy with the ORP and my changes so far…
  • Westcott Preload Collar Lift (2.5” front, 0.75” rear) - reduces leaning in corners and diving while braking in addition to leveling and increasing ride height for off-road use.
  • Nitto 275/70 R18 Tires (116 Load Index) - 33” tires with much less road noise than stock Michelins (also 116 Load Index). Very happy with these tires and look forward to getting off the pavement soon.
  • TRD Pro Wheels - going from 7.5” (+55 mm offset) stock ORP rims/tires to 8.5” (+20 mm offset) rims with the wider Nitto tires resulted in sidewall being 1.58” farther out than OEM setup. Before the Westcott lift this wheel/tire configuration rubbed on the OEM front mud flaps (when steering while accelerating/braking), so I removed front mud flaps. Toyota Parts: PT998-89210-F2 (wheels), 42607-76020 (valve stems with TPMS), and PT998-89210F2 (TRD center caps with red circle).
  • Direct Wired my Valentine One Radar Detector - Reused existing radar detector and mounting hardware to attach to Premium Mirror; easy to tap into rearview mirror power. I’ve used/reused Radar Mount brand on multiple vehicles (amazon.com).
  • Toyota Premium Horns - One of my favorite DIY upgrades, for sure — super easy and worth every penny when someone cuts me off on the freeway.
  • Removed Front Air Dam - worth the hit in fuel economy/range to me.
  • TRD Skid Plate - provides additional protection and appearance upgrade vs. ORP plastic version. Toyota Part: PTR60-35240.
  • Red Toyota Tow Hooks - another easy DIY upgrade; mostly for looks (I admit). Toyota Part: PT974-35250.
  • Applied Matte Black Overlay to Toyota Front Logo - previously the only chromed logo; this requires almost zero skill/effort. Toyota Part: PT948-35245-02.
  • Carista - made a few personalizations via OBD-II interface, including making the turn signals louder (I’m hearing impaired).
  • Redline Tuning (QuickLIFT Plus) Hood Struts - first upgrade I did; very easy DIY.
  • OEM Rack Cross Bars - removed due to wind noise; easily re-attached when needed.
  • Lasfit 7443 LED Front Turn Signal Lights | T3 Series (Switchback) - very easy DIY safety improvement; much brighter than OEM bulbs.
  • Lasfit Floor Mats - nice mats so far.
  • TRD Windshield Sunshade - tried two sizes and am happy with this one: Toyota part: PTQ24-35230.
  • Braun Pocket Floodlight (750 Lumen) - Mounted with velcro in empty cubby in dashboard when driver’s door is open (see pics, including translation of Morse code). $29.99 at Harbor Freight.
  • OEM Rims/Tires - Sold easily on FB Marketplace to a local SR5 owner to help offset upgrade expense.
Happy trails! - Brian

I bought it from Amazon based on another forum member’s recent post. TACOBRO is the manufacturer. I previously bought another brand but it was not compatible with the Hybrid versions, which I understand have power inverter circuitry beneath the center console to feed the 110V/2,400W AC power outlets.

What did you get for them?
I listed them for $900 and sold them for $800. This was very cheap in my view because I included the intact TPMS/stems along with the matching off-black lug nuts from the factory. I ordered a set of matching matte black lug nuts when I purchased my TRD Pro wheels. The challenge with selling 6th wheels on the ‘open market’ via FB Marketplace (or anywhere for that matter) is that: (1) the hub center on these wheels is smaller than the hub center for the prior models, and therefore not compatible; (2) prospective buyers are are motivated (aggressive?) after comparing the price of these virtually new tire/wheel setups against the price of replacement tires for their older vehicles; and (3) there are zillions of older 4Runners and Tacomas out there (not so many current models) and the owners don’t read the details of postings. My ad clearly stated that the wheels would only fit the newer models. So, I had to deal with numerous dead-ended inquiries (and an in-person visit) with owners of older vehicles convinced these wheels would work with their older vehicles. I live in a large market (DFW area), so fortunately I found a cash buyer whose wife has a 2025 SR5 4Runner, but didn’t like her wheels. Good luck with the sale! - Brian

Thank you for the detailed response. That's a great price, glad that worked out for you. Would you be willing to share the details of your listing? I bet it's got the level of detail as your posts and would be helpful when it comes time for me to sell mine.

Also, your ORP looks great! I've got the same one coming to me, Underground too, with plans for my first mod. I'm even more excited now. Thanks again.

I think that part number is incorrect for the wheels. PT998-89210-F2 brings up a center cap. Car you post the correct part number? looking to get the same setup

Are you in the DFW? Is so where did you get your Westcott Lift installed?

Your truck is very similar to mine. As for the mudflaps, if you`d like to keep them. Purchase the TRD Pro Version of them like I did. They are designed to fit flush with the front fender well ( unlike the regular ones) its to accomodate the +20 offset.
I have 275`s as well and they dont rub on the front mud flaps with the wider version.
I`ll be checking out that console organizer for sure !

So sorry. Here is the correct part number for the TRD Pro wheel: PT946-35240-2F.

I had the Westcott lift installed at Blue Star Truck Accessories, a small shop in Prosper, Texas. I ordered the hardware through them and they did a great job with the installation. I had the post-lift alignment done at Fifth Gear Automotive in McKinney; they have other Metroplex locations. I’m very happy with the lift and I’d use both shops again in the future. Blue Star is an authorized dealer with other brands as well…

Great - many thanks for the tip on the TRD Pro mud flaps! I’ve been looking at aftermarket versions (and fender flares), and haven’t found any that I like…

Do you have the part number(s) for the TRD Pro mud flaps? Not having much luck finding it…
