Are you suggesting that it's a smaller or bigger drop than expected?I am surprised by the 1-2 mpg drop. That is the OEM size correct? E or C rated ko3?
Bigger than I expected but now makes sense since an E rate tire with the additional weight. Are you suggesting that it's a smaller or bigger drop than expected?
I can't find a C size for 265/70R17 KO3 on any official lists or big retailer websites. The E tire is 55 lb, up from <35lb stock, so a 1-2mpg drop seems to be par for the course (if anything, a pretty good result for that big of a change).
Just got my wheels too, I’m going same tire size and brand. Any issues with speedometer?I loved it

I really like the white letters of the KO3s on the Ice Cap. I got new KO2s for my current 4Runerd last year from Tire Rack in load range E because that’s what was on it already, and the Tire Rack installer seemed surprised I was putting on a load range that high. He said the E range would be much heavier and would affect mileage, smoothness, etc. So which do you guys think would be more appropriate for a new 4Runner that does not do any towing or carry heavy loads?I am surprised by the 1-2 mpg drop. Assuming not hard core offroading too then CI really like the white letters of the KO3s on the Ice Cap. There is another new thread on here where another member has had a real nightmare getting their new KO3s balanced, and after searching it seems like there is a lot out there on this but a lot of it is from when the KO3s first came out. Just curious, have you had any balance issues with your KO3s?Assuming not hard core offroading too then C
I do not have KO3 yet. I have KO2 and discount tire did not mention any issues balancing them. There is another new thread on here where another member has had a real nightmare getting their new KO3s balanced, and after searching it seems like there is a lot out there on this but a lot of it is from when the KO3s first came out. I vote for wildpeake I just installed a set on my 2025 4Runner and love them better than my Nitto I had on jeepThe KO3s looks awesome! Still like them? Debating between KO3s and Wild peak AT4s.
Any rubbing issues? How is the road noise? any hit with the MPG? Funny thing I just cancelled a order for Nittos. Got them on clearance on tirerack. They dont do very well with snow, and I am in Michigan.I vote for wildpeake I just installed a set on my 2025 4Runner and love them better than my Nitto I had on jeep
Any balancing issues? where did you have your tires replaced? Thank youWent with 265/70R17 on stock SR5 wheels and swapped out the center caps with ones with the TRD logo.
Loving the raised white lettering on the tires. Gives a race-y F1 feel to them. Definitely have seen a 1-2 mpg drop since installation but worth the trade off!
