yeah, i have pretty minor mods on my 5th gen compared to most people and been wondering if I should of just gotten better OEM sized better tires only. I actually went pretty far on the crappy OEM AS tires before I changed anything(Coyote Flats in Eastern sierras is one example).
That sounds about right based on my 5th gen results. For it, the Idiot light comes on at 20 miles left with 3.5g left.

Is the 12v battery in the rear cargo area on the gas models too or the engine bay? If in the rear cargo I was thinking something like this would work to power a fridge...
I have a 5th gen with a 3rd which raises the floor about 6" like the hybrid and not a big deal for me but YMMV. I might rip it out in the near future which you cannot do with a hybrid.

People did on the 5th gen so guessing you can do on the 6th. But I would buy from the factory if you don't mind the trims it is offered on, $800 is cheap in the big picture.
