First road trip mileage (500 miles in ORP)

Took first road trip. About 500 miles ORP. First road trip to mtns of AZ. Went from 1100ft elevation to 7500ft. Mileage was there and back with about 50miles of easy off roading and pulling a light aluminum 15ft boat. I got 22.5mpg. Since I’ve gotten older, this is the game I play while driving vs how fast can I get there. I did have air dam on for highway driving. I’m pleased with mileage. Anyone get the suggested high end estimate for mpg? It looks like I’m is little higher than combined 21mpg.

I recommend that you ignore the first tank. On the first tank the vehicle was driven from the manufacturing facility to a parking lot and then to a boat and then to a parking lot and then to a trailer and then to a parking lot. Lots of idling. Fill the tank and reset the trip computer and you'll get your first real mpg estimate.

what size tires you got on? I got a lift and 35s and I got 15mpg ? going 500miles driving through Texas. Stayed at 70mph on Eco. Also got 3 dogs, tow hitch carrier, and roof rack luggage.
