Installed the Perry Parts Mk3 bump stops and only got to the rear ARK splash shields and didn't get to the front splash shields or any of the mud flaps. The splash shields were frustrating, made more so by utter lack of documentation, a 40+ minute video that contains installation of EVERY product they make for the 4Runner in turn, a 720p installation video taken from six feet away, a bag of hardware you're left to identify, maybe modifications necessary on the Trailhunter trim that aren't well explained or shown, and missing hardware.

I installed the bump stops on a lift with tires on. Rear was very easy, plate bolts torqued to 25 ft-lbs. Definitely easier to completely assemble the rear stops before bolting to the vehicle. Front is an access issue, but still easy. Torquing the outward facing tower bolts to 31 ft-lbs was a hassle; the downward facing bolt was very easy. The OME Trailhunter coil was the issue here. I assembled the front bump stop on the towers before installation on the vehicle.

I don't, sorry. I'm no expert but I would think maybe it's a limitation of the ECU? Like it can't output information to more than one device at a time. Just a thought.
Yes I don't tjink there is a solution. That's okay though. Thanks!

Different vehicle, I have a ScanGauge but wanted to use a Bluetooth OBD2 module from time to time. I purchased a plug that had a male OBD2 on one side of the head and a female on the other with wires that broke out. The wires were for the ScanGauge. It worked for me.

Officially, the front tower bolts get torqued to 31 ft-lb and the rear Perry plate bolts to 25 ft-lbs.
I just added the ARK front and rear splashguards. I agree it sure would have been nice to have written insructionns. I was able to figure it out and had no problems installing them.

The rear driver side was a real pain. It just didn't line up. The guy in the video calling nuts as bolts and two piece push rivets as Christmas trees when there's flanged nuts and regular nuts and two piece rivets and Christmas trees included in the kit. They never show what they're using and the video is too low quality to spot it otherwise so the only way you know what goes where is a few seconds of video at the beginning of each section buried in a 42 minute video. The passenger side was easier. It fit better. Maybe the Trailhunter is slightly different? I'm missing a flared 10mm nut, too.

I think distinct hardware packs would help. Included or downloadable sheets showing 1:1 images of all hardware in each kit with quantities. A second sheet showing where each hardware type goes for each installation. An addendum or specific sheets for the Trailhunter or any another trims. Split the damn video up, film it higher quality or at least make high quality photos of successful installation available for comparison.

I watched short clips to see what goes where. Some were obvious others mot so much. I do think O got ttem all and had some extra rivets.. I completely agree they could do alot better.

Finally done here are new pics with new 265/70R18 Falcon Wildpeak AT4W's on TRD Pro 20 mm offset wheels. Also added ARK splashguards front and rear. While at it painted calipers with G2 epoxy paint. Wish I had done it when they were new but with work they

Were the splashguards easy to install? Did you need to remove the wheel beforehand?

I had the wheels off but have heard others were able to install them wheels on. There are no written instructions only a YouTube video. I had to watch it in short clips following step by step. Would have been much easier with an instruction manual. Mine came out nice though happy I did it.

I installed the rears with the tires on. I think the fronts would be the same. Rear flaps require holes to be drilled so that may depend on your skill and tools available.

Drilling the felt liners is actually optional I skipped it with no issues. Rear guards are against the liner and secure with just the one fastener.

That's too cool! I hunt the Adirondaks but I've spent time in Potter County (God's Country), PA fly fishing in Kettle Creek with a friend who owns a camp down there. I have another friend who guides elk hunts in the Allegheny region. Love to see the elk population continuing to grow.
