My dealer did offer to show me the vehicle options, but I declined as I had read most of the manual before I picked it up. I hear people about poor or nonexistent manuals a lot (not as much for vehicles) but I suspect many that complain about that would never read them anyway. It really does a lot of good to read all manuals, even ones for simple devices. For many I learn nothing new, but often I do--or at least it may serve as a reminder of something I did know. It is usually the first place I look if I do have a question/problem, followed by a general Internet search (or, nowadays, chatgpt as it has gotten really good). I would also search this forum somewhere in there, then finally ask here or a dealer if I still have not figured it out.

What did you do when you bough it? Every car I have bought and the car my parents bought they offered to show you how to use all the features. How to use your car in NOT a service thing. Maybe you need to go back to sales and say I need help with features.
Every car I have bought the dealer has always gone over the features and how to use them. Then I bought a 4Runner it was here’s the keys good luck and goodbye worse deal ever once the paperwork was signed

I discovered that if the window is down even the slightest bit, the hatch will unlock but not open. At that point, you can't use power to open or close the hatch or raise or lower the window. You have to push the hatch closed until it locks in order to restore power. What's confusing is that if you accidentally open the hatch with the window down, you think the whole thing is broken.

And then there's the stupid kick sensor. I've only gotten it to work a few times. Most of the time, it beeps at you. Sometimes, if you're reaching into the back to do something, it triggers and starts to close on you. So annoying.

Bad Reviews on google and sites like that. When you get that customer service follow up you make sure you note all of that and leave a bad score. They will get the hint. Those are extremely important to their business and to many bad reviews for employees will effect bonus or even leads they get. Same for service dept their pay is very dependent of reviews.
