Got this 1 year ago today and have never had so much fun in a vehicle. I tried to keep aftermarket modification simple and clean. Just thought I'd share, I love how it turned out.

-Rough Country M1R loaded struts in the front (3") and Westcott coil spacer in the rear (1.5")

-Fuel RINCON wheels 17x9 +1 offset. Needed to put on extended fender flares for these due to the big offset change and an extra 1.5" of wheel width, gave an estimated ~2 inches of extra poke which looked great but was shotgunning my rocker panels with gravel

-Falken Wild Peak 285/70/17

-Cali Raised rock sliders and interior MOLLE paneling

-Slideout locker system/sleeping platform by Colfax Campers

How’s the m1 feel compared to stock? I had m1 on my 23 tundra trd sport and it was comfortable enough for me and my family. Considering it again this time for 4Runner

A lot better than stock, but of course stiffer. Still pretty comfortable on pavement, great off road, but I don't do anything crazy, mostly rough logging and service roads for fly fishing access points. Cornering is super stable with pretty much no dip. People talk badly about RC suspension on the internet which gave me pause but honestly I've been impressed by this piggyback reservoir model.

Funny story, my shop originally ordered Fox performance struts but when they went to put them on they realized they aren't designed for 6gen, I gave them some friendly guff for that because they are honest dudes and they put these on at a bit of a discount, the new Fox's for the 6gen weren't out at this time last year. I think they are now, so there are other options too at this point. Good bang for the buck in my opinion, no complaints.

I have the same seat covers and can attest to the good quality, fitment, and durability.

Hey Baron,

Clean build! I just got a 2026 6th Gen 4Runner SR5 Underground and I'm planning my own build soon.

How are you liking the +1 offset with the extra-wide fender flares?

My installer mentioned I won't be able to keep the mud flaps if I go with those flares.

I noticed you ran yours without mud flaps too.

Do the wide flares block enough rocks and debris from chipping your rear panels?

I live on a couple of miles of gravel, so solid coverage is a must.

PPF doesn't last very long out here, so I want to get the hardware right.

Thanks in advance!

Yep they provide great coverage and are meant to replace flaps. I love the wheel setup, gives a noticeably wider stance and looks very cool in my opinion. I had the extra wide TRD mud flaps on there to cover the 285 tires before I switched to these and when the new wheels got put on, the flaps looked very tiny. It's a pretty significant change compared to stock. To note, the big offset change with the bigger tires did add a little rub when reverse at full turn. I rarely have to full turn in reverse so its not an issue for me. Going forward, no rub even at full turn. Congrats on the new ride

Awesome to hear, and thanks for getting back to me so quickly brother! I can definitely live with a tiny bit of rub in reverse if it means getting that wider stance and better coverage. I’ve actually been eyeing these these but I was hesitating because I don't know if they play nice with the flares. I appreciate the advice and the congrats, man
