As i look at the scuffs on my tailgate i also look at the speakers. My first thought was to do the same and cut the holes myself, but also buying a product just to chop it up to fit kinda sucks. If your team says no deal then maybe ill attempt but holding off til more information comes out

Yeah, I can't see spending good money on something then potentially destroying it due to inexperience modifying it to fit what I need it for. I'll be hoping the correct product comes to fruition pretty soon then take my money because I'd love have the correct product. I'd really love to have something more permanent to protect the rest of plastic stuff in the cargo area also. I hate scuffs & marred up surfaces.

Those little foam stick strips would last less than a day in Arizona summer heat. I'll wait for some direct mount or total replacement version.

Ahhh yes! I have a set of those. Something similar would be great for the cargo area and liftgate though a TPU or silicone material that are more forgiving of damages would be better.
