the predator steps are useless for northern tier states. snow accumulates on the leading edge of the steps and becomes an annoyance during winter.

trust me, i found this out the hard way on our 2016 tacoma, never again.

also forgot to add, the oem predator steps snap off pretty easy if you hit them with something. so if you off road, expect to replace them with something better.

yes with the oem mudflaps, they sit too high, they need to be about 2in lower especially during lower speeds like 35 mph or slower.

this was our 2016 taco with oem mud flaps and the predator steps. thankfully we got rid of it in 2018 for a tundra, problem solved :)
