Front License plate holder (no-drill options)?

Has anyone tried the Mishimoto bracket mentioned on page 1? The grills on the Tacoma look identical to mine but I don't know if I want to shell out $110 on the hope that it fits. My state doesn't require a front plate but the state parks do require a surf plate with annual sticker in order to go out surf fishing.

I got this one. Have had it since the 4runner cane out. No issues at all. It just takes some adjustment to get it into a right place. I would suggest getting nylon nuts. I haven't added them to my plate but its a small improvement.

I just pulled the trigger on the Mishmoto mount - if it doesn't work out I'll give that one a try. Thanks for the link!

Slow to update, but the Mishimoto mount listed for the Tacoma does NOT work on the grill of the Off Road Premium. I might try the one @donayre21 listed above.

Its also cheaper. Hopefully you were able to return the other one. I would suggest blue locktite for so it wont come loose.

Yes, they did let me return it. Fortunately Mishimoto is located about 10 miles from where I work. They made me pay return shipping but that was fair as I was the one risking the chance it might work on a 4Runner.

I used the Mishimoto on my OR (non-P). I just had to ignore the instructions and reconfigure the mounting blocks to make it work

Once I saw it wouldn't align by following the instructions, I tried every which way and couldn't get them to seat firmly enough to keep it from slipping off the grill. Glad you found a way to make it fit!
