Any trails in Texas that people recommend or have been to? Or parks? Seems like its just Big Bend or Hidden Falls Adventure Park. Always seem to see people from Colorado or Cali and PNW posting all these awesome trails and parks but havent seen anything in our area

We have some OHV parks that are cool.
Bridgeport OHV in north Texas
Merus adventure park
Hidden falls

also places like PINS

but realistically, if you just want to explore and camp - that happens in Oklahoma, Arkansas, New Mexico and CO. Not in Texas

Where are you out of?
San Antonio. My family has some property down in south Texas so might have to go down there one of these days but was hoping for something like all these trails and campsite the PNW people have. Downloaded On X Offroad app and there seems to be some roads and back roads that might be a daytrip type of thing in the hill country

Best advice is try to find a Facebook group or something near you. Driving to NM might be your best option for the “full experience “

Big Bend National park has some backcountry camping that I didn't feel comfortable driving our highlander to and a few trails to hike that you need high clearance and 4wd to reach. I think they would be fun to explore in the 4Runner. I'm going camping at Palo Duro in a few weeks and plan to check out the trails at Merus.
