We traveled 4,000 miles, covered 10 states and 2 Canadian territories in eight days.

We had a lot of fun doing it, but were glad to get back home again. driving a lot of miles day after day gets on ones nerves after a while. I have a new found respect for long haul truckers.

If you want to know how we prepared for the trip here is the link:

The truck ate up the miles effortlessly! I have no regrets about purchasing the truck.

Very impressive break-in regimen. Sounds like it performed flawlessly.

It did indeed.
I put on the first thousand locally before ever going on the trip.
I also did my first oil change at that point.

When I came back I did another one.

Spent 3 weeks in Sault Ste Marie last month, drove there from Denver. Great road trip vehicle.
Actually our turn around point was going to be in CO, but with the temperatures floating in the 90's it sucked the incentive right out of us. Maybe in the future.
We have both been to CO before and absolutely loved it. We were just hoping to see it again, and more of it.

One of the only things that we wished we'd seen more of is wild life. We only saw one moose, and that was for only about four seconds. But I guess that I half to be careful for what I wish for. I could have seen the moose right in front of the truck as I was going 90 Km/h.

Very true !
I’m
Originally from France, and I’ve never seen a moose out in the wild, and always say “I’d love to see one, but considering the circumstances through which most people got to see one, I’m ok if it remains like this”
These would open a 4Runner like a can in the blink of an eye !

If you ever want to see a lot of wildlife, spend a week in Yellowstone in early June. All the babies are out, it’s not too busy yet, you won’t be disappointed.

I wouldn't know, I'm married. :)
I wouldn’t either, it was a quote from a niche Canadian TV show called Shoresy. Other than that show I never would’ve heard of Sudbury ?. Great road trip, I’m shocked Thunder Bay is that close (relatively) to Maine, it seems so far from the border.

Thunder Bay is about 21 hours away from us. We just wanted to include it as part of our route.
