It’s not just the 4Runner, there’s other vehicles out there that look hideous with them too! I had the dealership remove it before I took ownership.

It’s not just the 4Runner, there’s other vehicles out there that look hideous with them too! I had the dealership remove it before I took ownership.
It seems the person that said "most people think the air damn is hideous" is right according to the poll results.

Now I think someone should start a poll about the non-colored match fender flares. Me personally, I think they look hideous and is part of the reason I ponied up for the more expensive TRD Sport Premium. There were other reasons too, but to me, the black flares look cheap and hideous.

Well, I don't want to say hideous, they just don't look good in my opinion. But not hating on anyone that loves them. Someone might start a poll on the black fender flare aesthetics if they are interested.

I don't mind how the air dam looks too much, but it makes the approach angle worse than my old Subaru Outback. It seems ridiculous to own an expensive "TRD Off-Road" SUV that can barely clear a parking lot curb without ripping apart the front bumper. For that reason, there is no longer an air dam on my 4Runner.
