Rookie Questions: Wheel Swap on 2025 TRD Off-Road Premium (Offset & Center Cap)

Hey everyone,

I’m new here and definitely not as knowledgeable as most of you, so apologies if this is a basic or “dumb” question — just trying to learn before I mess something up.

I am picking up a 2025 4Runner TRD Off-Road Premium next week, and I’m looking at swapping the stock wheels (not the tires yet, just the wheels). The factory wheels have an offset of +55, and the ones I’m looking at have a +35 offset (Racelie 958b-Rogue).

I’m wondering if changing to +35 offset cause any rubbing or problems with the stock tires. And, is there anything else I should consider before making the switch?

I’m also considering upgrading at the dealership to the all black Toyota wheels that come with the red “TRD” center caps. But I like the all-black look better — is it possible to swap the center cap for something different?

You are using the factory wheels, so is the new wheel 18x8.5 or 18x9 ?
You can do all the math with the site above.

If its 8.5" then you are looking at 33mm outward so you will be fine !?

Your model would have sensors being a premium. So don’t get rid of them and transfer to your new wheels.
