OEM Sliders w/ Blind Bolts

Hi all!! Need some advise…I just received my TRD OR this week and am loving it. The ride is night and day compared to my 2019 5th Gen. The dealer could not install rock sliders due to no threads in the off-road. I see many aftermarket (Wescott, NYTop) use 1/4 blind bolts to install their sliders. I am assuming this can be done with the Toyota OEM ones. Any insight would be appreciated before I order them. Thanks!

I've got the side issue as you do. I have bought OEM sliders and have just purchased some ATC BlindBolts. How was the install?

Blind bolt install was easy peasy. I found it easier than the rivet nut/nutzert method to be honest. I also think the blind bolts will hold up better long term.

Install was a bit hard for me because I didn’t have the right tools. With that it would have saved me more time. But they are on there.

I have a manual socket wrench. Not auto. What a PIA. But it worked. Socket wrench hit me in the head a few times. Haha.
