Bad News: Yesterday I officially handed down my 2006 V8 Sport to my son. I'm going to miss her but he will take good care of her.

Good News: Today I secured my new 2025 Off-Road Premium in Underground. Expected to be delivered in a few weeks. Can't wait!

Congratulations @Cityzen10

Good choice... I've only seen photos of Underground TRD Off-Road 2025 4Runner / 6th gen once so far but it looked pretty damn good.

I see you've got some mods on your '06. Any mods planned for your 2025 4Runner? Using it for camping?

Looks like an Underground 6th gen 4R won't be straying far from your Galactic Gray Mica 4th gen!

These are the only photos I have seen of the Underground OffRoad as well. Mine will have the upgraded wheel package, black emblems and a few other small upgrades. Waiting to see how the wheels look before I decide if I am going to swap them out. I will probably at least put a leveling kit on it. Haven't done a ton of difficult offroading but maybe I will with the new one. Definitely want to use it for camping though.

I'll post pics as soon as I get it. Delivery expected between Feb 22nd and Mar 13th.

The Galactic Mica always had a blue tint to it in the gloomy skies of Oregon. My only hope is that I don't miss the V8. This 06 V8 is a hard to find gem and I've kept it in near mint condition. Hopefully my son keeps it that way haha.

First, let me say that I wanted a 4th gen V8 when they came out but it was far out of my budget. The best looking 4Runner until the 6th Gen. But you won't miss the V8 except for the sound. The T24A engine makes 278 HP and 317 lb/ft of torque vs the 4.7 V8's 260 HP and 306 lb/ft of torque, more power and almost double the gas mileage.

This is my hope. I just know that with that V8 going uphill and I need more passing power, it delivers. That gas pedal is soo responsive to whatever you want it to give you with no struggles at all. Definitely excited to get a little more than 16-17mpg haha.

That's a good side by side photo showing how the 4Runner design DNA carrying through from generation to generation. ?

I agree. If you took all the badges off the 6th gen and asked a random person what kind of truck it was I think most people would recognize it as a 4Runner. The designers did an amazing job of mixing the new face of Toyota trucks with the traditional look of previous generations of 4Runners.

You will be shocked how quickly you get over her when you start riding the new, fresh, and most wonderful Gen 6. I feel ya, my daughter is still driving the 2004 V8 Limited I handed down to her six 1/2 years ago. She is in the 300K club and currently has 350K on the odometer. You can't pry her away from that truck.
