I’m curious what this sounds like with a catted Downpipe. I have the DP on mine, and it’s my understanding aftermarket exhausts with that setup can be obnoxiously loud. Given the MagnaFlow has the NDT, it might sound okay, but I don’t want to be the first to try it out! 😂

I have a Borla Catback exhaust system on my 2025 TRD Pro; love it and I’ve experienced about 1.7 mpg improvement since installing. It was one of the first mods I did. I bought the MagnaFlow online and the dealer swore it would work, nope.

I have a 25 lim/max so the hybrid exhaust is a must. I had borla on my 5th gens. How is the Borla for 6th? Anyone done a comparison to it vs AWE? Thoughts out there?

I would say they’re both top quality replacements to the factory installed exhaust in sound, performance, ground clearance, and protection. Borla has that classic aggressive, but not overwhelming, sound…you certainly can hear it on acceleration. It’s quieter with less drone on the highway. I like their quality and they stand behind their product.

I understand the AWE likely offers better protection on the trail as it sits higher versus Borla’s exhaust tip, that’s angled down. I don’t see me getting to aggressive/technical on rocks so the Borla fits my trail use, and I think it’s a few hundred dollars cheaper.

Good luck, whatever you choose I’m sure you’ll do so with what’s best for your use and interest.
