Intermittent buzzing sound

Still can't figure it out. I set up a Carista and shut off the ESE and ANC. It was still there and maybe louder due to the absence of engine enhancement sounds.
My trusted mechanic could not figure it out either. Hopefully a TSB will be raised soon enough.

As long as people keep taking it to the dealer and complaining just gotta be persistent.

I wish I could ignore this sound. It's driving me crazy. I live in a small city and am frequently driving under 30 mph.

So glad i found this thread. Exactly same issue going on, 2026 SR5. Most obvious when window is down, especially when driving next to a jersey wall or something, it makes it sound like a high pitch almost electronic buzzing. When windows are closed, if i'm thinking its the same thing, sounds like a low pitched sound coming from center console (maybe 2 differnet sounds)

Yep. Thats the noise. It is bad
The theory is have seen is the high pressure fuel.pump but who knows. I wonder if every 4runner makes this noise and some people dont hear/notice it. It really bugs me.Its driving me nuts, dealer appointment Thursday 6/11 will update group

Good news and bad news.
Bad news they cant fix it. Some 4Runners do it some dont.
Good news they're giving me my full purchase price towards a 26 and doing this with the one I picked will eliminate my loan. So. No fix just a negative vehicle characteristic.

Your saying your new 26 does not make this noise? Did you drive one that does not make this noise? Did the dealer have any thoughts on what makes the noise?

I did test drive the 26 and it did not make the noise.
The tech I went with thinks its an electrical issue maybe some bad shielding somewhere but replacing all the wiring is not worth it. So. Ill take the trade but I know they're not going to do that for everyone.
